I just realised I have more peoples emails than I do phone numbers. I have added all my family and friends, (and by friends I mean people I have met and built relationships with in the real world), on MSN and mySpace. I never really call anyone anymore, I email and IM them. (It's a bit hard to see most of my mates, I just moved 150 miles) But is this lack of real social interaction with the people that we care about going to lead to an antisocial future?

It is true computers are taking over reality...for example everywhere you go there are internet dating sites. Whatever happened to going to a bar and meeting a fella. At least you get the real deal. The only thing that worries me is you can be anyone you like on here, but when it comes to reality who are you really?

oh definatly
and the worst thing is
we're all guilty!
you can tell when things are getting out of hand when...

...sitting by the computer becomes an evening activity
...you take a camera everwhere you go (especially parties)
...and end up with the occassionaly 'lol' slipping out in real-life conversations (msn partly to blame for that too)

a lot of people are under the assumption too that it's just 13-19s interested in myspace
oh no
turns out everybody wants a piece, adults included
whether you're 9 or 90

maybe THIS is the myspace generation
or maybe the older generation is a wave of secret myspacers waiting to emerge

who knows
all I know
is that (love it or loathe it) myspace is not going away any time soon
thanks tom?

I think Myspace will be a thing of the past here in a few years, its a bubble just like everything else. Places like YouTube are new bubbles as well, when will they pop who knows. Websites are like clothes, they go in trends. Myspace will soon be out of style.

myspace will be like slap bracelets, saved by the bell, leg warmers, and virtual pets. Our kids will make fun of us.
