that means you are your most fertile. It's nothing to be alarmed about

It's just the normal lubrication produced by your vagina. If it's clear, but sort of thick like a raw egg white, it means that you're ovulating. Your body produces thicker mucus to help trap the sperm cells and facilitate fertilization of the egg that is being released.

If you're still worried, by all means go to the doctor and get checked out, but mucus is pretty normal.

That's pretty normal. Your cervical mucus changes during the course of a month as you reach ovulation.

Right after your period it is dry, sticky, thick and white. You'll be at your most dry here.

Pre-ovulation it is moist and opaque and slightly stretchy

Directly prior to, and during ovulation it is slippery, thin and transparent and looks like egg-white. (This is probably what you're experiencing now).

Clear, stretchy mucus is nothing to be afraid of. It's a natural part of being female, and if it is more copious than usual, probably means you are ovulating.

It isn't semen, as semen dies down and dries within one or two days, and it is possibly just a form of infection. Although it could be nothing, as well.

Good luck with the OBGYN.

It's probably just an infection. I'm getting treatment for that right now. As far as I know, many women have that.
