Monitor as capable of handling high resolution imaging, however, you will always loose picture quality when you are viewing a HD channel that's because of the streaming technologies, etc.

If you were playing a DVD for example (which is local to the computer) you get the best picture, but when you are receiving a live broadcast, it a different story. But a simple answer to your question is that, yes a monitor is a HD device.

hd is a format in which both the video being seen could be filmed in hd and also the visual demonstrate unit and or television could be extremely made to educate hd format video.the answer on your question isn't any, not all video demonstrate instruments made right now are hd able and the reason of that is video demonstrate instruments are made in diverse value tiers and as you may imagine the further funds wakeful individual is a lot less apt to spend excellent greenback on a hd visual demonstrate unit .

What you have described is so far OK for HD movies,
however you will also need a strong CPU (you have not told us what is your CPU speed!).

Also your monitor supports 1280x1024 but with what refresh rate? If the refresh rate is very low you can get sick...

good luck!
