Numerous people (on this website) seem to think that the Borat film is very funny, and also, that anyone who is offended by the humour are simply P-C gone mad.

I was just wondering - Have any of these people ever actually travelled to Kazakhstan (or Romania, where most of the Kazakh stuff was apparently filmed)? Or likewise, have they ever been to the USA???

Are all countries / nationalities up for this sort of lampoonery? Can we expect a new Sacha Baron Cohen character, from say, Iran, or Pakistan?

Borat Schmorat... Well I insist this stuff isn't satire. But most of you guys seem to think it's funny, so fair enough. Anyone able to show me where Kazakhstan is on an atlas???

Some people need to get a life!! I'm Irish and I don't feel at all offended by Irish jokes!

If you've watched the film you may find out that it's the Americans who have come off worst and should be complaining that they have been made to look such fools!!

Do the Kazakh people really think that because of the film, we think that they live like that and all women are whores and the fella's are paedo's? And their National Day consists of The Running of The Jew?? Cohen's a Jew for God's sake!

Take a day off - don't be a grumpy old git all your life!

I've never been to the USA or Kasakhstan but I have lived in England all my life where Borat started all his p*ss taking. So what!!!! It's still funny
Humour is always at somebody's expense. If it's funny it's funny. Anybody who gets uptight about laughing at themself has no right to laugh at anybody else.
