When I was taking my son to school this morning, I told him how much I appreciated his help. He is 16 and he spent his Sunday taking care of his 93 year old Great-Grandma so his mom (me) could spend time with his aunt (my sister) and his Grandpa could take his Grandma to the Doctor's. I also told him how his dad's colleagues were discussing their out-of-control teens, and how great he is. He responded with humor. He usually does. He quoted South Park, "Whatever, I do what I want." Then he grinned and said thanks, it's no problem.

He just keeps amazing me. What a great kid.

I saw my superintendent on the elevator yesterday and told her that I respect how dedicated her and her husband are, because they are.
We have had perhaps twenty people in their position over the years but they are the only ones who conduct their selves with mutual respect for each other and those they are responsible for.
I told her I realize that people in general are ungateful and take life and living life for granted.
I told her that I know how hard the job is and how demanding people are, even when they have no right to be.

I was thinking how much my husband has proven his love for me over the past few years. So I planted a good kiss on him, the kind all guys like, and I said, "thanks". I think it was taken quite well as he responded by saying, "you can do that whenever you want".

My hubby works his butt off at work so that I can stay home and raise our son. Just last night I gave him a full body massage with oils that I brought yesterday.
