I must have had like a breakdown or something. My daughter was born on Oct 27, she is my 3rd, I had my tubes tied. The day she turned 2 wks old, all I could do was cry. And it was only when there was nothing on my mind, and my Dr would pop into my head, and I'd cry & cry. My Dr delivered all 3 of my kids, and I've grown very fond of him, he's nice, polite, has a sense of humor.. he's just on overall nice guy, and I admit, I'll miss him. (No, I don't have a crush on him, we're both married) But WHY all the crying? I'm fine today, and was yesterday too. The only thing I can figure is I just had a little breakdown or something. I done nothing different, besides drink coffee all day (which I NEVER do)... any thoughts? I hope those days don't come back.

Coffee can cause terrible anxiety. That could have contributed to a mini-breakdown. Likely though, it's just due to hormones. Your hormone levels are going crazy right now trying to adjust to your un-pregnant body.

I'm so sorry you feel sad. Don't worry too much, it's just your hormones, and the fact that you had your tubes tied signifies that this is the end of your childbearing days, which can be very sad. My hormones still make me cry and my baby is almost 8 months old! Just get a box of Kleenex and let it out!

I was kinda sad also a week or 2 after my baby was born. I didn't understand why, because I was so happy to be a mother and so in love with my baby. I felt like no one new what I was going through..it was AWFUL. but it does pass. Don't worry. get out and do some of the old things you used to do before baby. let your mate watch the baby and you go shopping or something. Best wishes and congratulations

hormones honey. Take a walk and get in the sun. Its normal to have little spurts of depression after delivery as your hormones regulate. Exercise, light from the sun, and healthy bright colored foods help your body regulate itself.

It'll pass.
