I would say man-made, although I am not dismissing the possibility of aliens. None of us were there so we can only guess how this actually came to be. However, there has been enough research into the making of StoneHenge to pretty much be sure that it was constructed by humans. It had to be long hard labor for them, but what they lacked in our technology, they had in scholars and skilled architects. They also lived by the sun and stars as did most back then. Hence the solstice sunlight landing in the right spot each year. It was designed around their beliefs and culture.
Some others have listed sites to check out, which are cool. You can also look on Discovery Channel website and they have done a few documentaries on the subject that are quite interesting, with facts and queries. You should be able to find those series of shows on numerous subjects. Have fun checking it out.
Peace!

No one on this earth really knows who built that rock formation any true fact about that stone formation has been lost in time.. All the information about that stone formation, that has been made public Is pure guess work. As far as this world knows It could have been created by some space traveler child who needed something to do while waiting to move on. Or by someone who wanted a big play-pen. And any answer that mankind come up with now or in the future will still be based on the total assumption of mankind.......................

properly the earliest area--the henge--is the financial company and ditch which grew to become into carved out with antler options/ The stones themselves have been further down the rivers and probable prompted sledges pulled by ability of the two adult males or oxen. back, that's amazingly not vulnerable to be carried out by ability of 'slaves' (not adequate inhabitants) yet a community attempt by ability of people who worshipped celestial activities and additionally respected their ancestors who have been buried in the aubrey holes interior the trench and in the burial mounds throughout Salisbury undeniable. they might have have faith the spirits of ancestors or gods truthfully resided in the stones--a trouble-free few stones at Stonehenge have 'advantageous properties' or vaguely look guy or woman-formed, & I truthfully have considered this at different stone circles too. The lintels have been probably positioned up utilizing wood scaffolding; yet another point could be geared up each and every time they inched the capstone up, till it would desire to be fastened on the mortice & tenon joint. The developers have been experienced woodworkers, who had a least 3 or 4 huge wood temples approximately 2 mi away at Durington partitions. Re: druids. It grew to become into not 'celtic druids' who geared up the stones; they did not arrived till ultimately 55 BC approx and worshipped in o.ok.groves. One poster stated concerning the Cornis,Welsh h and so on--yet they have positioned the cart previously the pony. present day dna assessments have shown maximum individuals in britain (such because of the fact the English) are neither saxons nor 'celts' yet descendants of adult males of the previous & New stone age.

It was aliens!! Last year when they abducted me they told me all about it, they brought some heavy equipment from their planet and a team of construction workers, just to put up some stones in a circle and then fly back to their planet and never come back. Then they put a tracking device in me and were on their way, friendly aliens, I didn't like the probing part, but still, they were pretty gentle.
