To the general population - do you think it is positive or negative for marriages.

For those who are swingers, why did you get into it and is it still positive for your relationship

Whether or not its beneficial depends on how thoroughly the two partners have discussed it beforehand and how mature they are; this is why swingers tend to be older couples who have been together a while.

We tried it and decided that the lifestyle wasn't for us - we weren't prepared to make that step into group sex, so we remained just 'open'.

Very negative and wrong. A marriage is a commitment of two people - and it is disrespectful to become swingers while married. If you're just dating, have at it. But marriage is sacred.

I do not agree with it. Spice up a marriage a different way. The point of getting married is to be with only that one person.

No, it is horrible, marriage is between 2 people and sex is part of marriage.
