casuals. loose shirt with banyan underneath which helps absorbing perspiration and humidity of Mumbai. pants, jeans and other casuals. Tie and suits are outdated because at last people have realised that they are not right kind of stuff for Mumbai climate.
girls wear, tops, kurtis, punjabi and those who wants to call themselves mod wear pants and tops.
Almost all mumbaiwallah carry a cellphone in their hands.

depends what social and family background ur coming from i would think.
for th more westernised: normal clothes, pants, tops like anywone else in the west.
