I dont know why you think anyone on a genric site like 'yahoo answers' would really know if there was a secret conspiracy in the US government/NASA.
ALL the so called 'inconsistancies' in the 'moon hoax conspiracy theory' have been answered time and time again, but the lunatic fringe insist on trotting out the same old (non) evidence
this site answers most of their rubbish:

I say "Most of the rubbish", because you can never really tell what new 'fact' a hoax-nutter is going to pull out of their a*se next.

If you watch the specials by the natioanal geographic and myth busters, yes we went to the moon, unknowen to Nasa ,a British scientist tracked the telementary of APollo 11 and the LEM landing,the Russians would have exposed us if we faked it and we didnt have the technology to fake it in those days !
The rocks from the moon prove we went there ,unlike meteiors ,the moon rocks are differant!
You had over 1oo,oo people in volved in Apollo from contactors to NASA employees who were working on Apollo,
Yes Neil Armstromg walked on the moon Jluy 29 th 1969 and I would bet a million dollars he did,ofcourse if
you believe in conspiracy theories we faked it,then no matter what questions I answer for you ,you will bring up another question and it will never end ,we have satellite photos of the lem and rover tracks on the moon and if you wait long enough someone will send a probe or an astronaut to the moon to photograph the landing sites and you will see the left behind backpacks and foot prints from the astronauts along with the lunar rover and desent stage of the Apollo lumar lem sitting on the surface after landing !

No, the moon landing was a fake.
They filmed it in Arizona. Arizona has many deserts and only one sixth the gravity of earth, so was ideal for faking a moon landing. Also there is little air in Arizona, as evidenced by much of it's conservative politics. The lack of air made for very convincing actions by the dust that the "Astronauts" kicked up. Had that been anywhere else on earth, the dust would have floated up forming little dust clouds around their feet.
All the money 'ostensibly' used to fund this landing was diverted to and washed in a offshore bank in the Caymens, which was then funnelled into a secret Miami bank account. Half went to the aliens which served as the film crew, the other half I kept for writing the script and coming up with the props.
p.s. It was only that landing that was faked. All the rest were real. I know, because I went on three of them. I hide in the luggage bin.

The moon landing occurred. it extremely is actuality. Neil Armstrong's boot prints are nevertheless on the moon. they're going to be there till a meteor hits there and erases them, or some destiny person on the moon makes a decision to be a jerk and erase it. to no longer point out all the different stuff we've left on the moon, like the flag and all of the lunar rovers. As for the flag, right this is why it waved: The astronauts have been shifting the flag into place. with out air drag, those strikes led to the unfastened nook of the flag to swing like a pendulum for some time. A horizontal rod, seen in many pictures, prolonged from the top of the flagpole to hold the flag out for appropriate show. The flag's rippled visual charm replaced into from folding throughout the time of storage, and it ought to be flawed for action in a nevertheless image. the top help rod telescoped and the team of Apollo 11 ought to no longer totally strengthen it. Later crews favourite to in elementary terms in part strengthen the rod. Videotapes shows that as quickly as the flag stops after the astronauts enable it flow, it remains motionless. At one factor the flag remains thoroughly motionless for wisely over thirty minutes.

Yawn! Sorry - this question gets asked soo often! Why do people seem so reluctant to accept that it would have been harder to fake than to actually go to the moon? You can do science with the data brought back, which means every astronomy dept in the world would have had to be in on it!!! (Including my humble self!)
Here is a link to Dr Phil's site, he debunks the hoax claim pretty well;

YES! I am witness to it. I saw the moon mission as it was telecast in 1969. Do not doubt such a great technological feat of the US space scientists. It is unfair to them.

Yes, he went to the moon.
Although a really convincing film was made (Capricorn One) about faking a trip to outer space.
