Hi, i'm now in my third trimester of pregnancy, 29 weeks, and am constanly really tired. I feel exhausted all the time without doing anything much at all!. I know its normal to be tired during the last few weeks, but is it normal to not want to do anything other than sleep?. I sleep practically all day then have real trouble trying to get up and wake myself up. All I want to do is go back to bed!. Was, or is, anyone else like this during their own pregnancy?.

Hell yes remember you are growing a little baby inside you, but if you are worried try eating more greens and red meat see if it helps a little, but apart from that i was also very tired i went to my doctor and asked why she said it was normal to be tired and just try eating lots of fruit and veg and lean meat to keep up the energy!

Third Trimester Tiredness

I was that way with both of my boys. You will feel even more tired this last trimester. Be prepared, sleep all you can cuz there will be no more sleeping until your kid is out of college, lol, just kidding. But you will be getting up all hours of the night for feedings and such. That is why you stay tired and pee a lot. You are preparing yourself for many late nights and getting up several times. Sleep as much as you can now, so you can get ready for that new baby! Congrats and sleep well!

It's normal to be tired. The first and third trimesters are the worse. Make sure you are taking your vitamins and eating a balanced meal as the baby is taking alot from your body. I used to do the Denise Austin workout for pregnant women and it did help. I was able to work right up until the week before my daughter was born.

It is normal to be very tired, but it could be a sign that your body isn't getting the nurtritional energy it needs to keep up with the growth of your baby. All the food you eat is going to baby and not you! Are you eating enough of the right things?

Try this site, it's a well known and researched pregnancy diet and could really help.

Absolutely!

Towards the end of my own pregnancy baby became very heavy on my bones and I couldnt move like before, he was coming down and getting ready for birth. I tired to keep off my feet and taking my time to get things done. But you be the judge of what your limits are and just let things take its course. I wish you well with your impending motherhood :-)
