Thats a pretty good deal, but check out the available acer and asus laptops before you go and buy it.

I got an acer with a core duo, a ati mobility x1600 with all the rest of the things the dell has, but only a 120gb hard drive. It was $1100, and I have never been happier with anything else Ive purchased.

What are you going to be using it for?

One suggestion, see the video card. It says Hypermemory. That is bad, your video card shares memory with your PC.

That laptop will be more than sufficient for what you are using it for. Still, Hypermemory sucks. But, you should not experience any issues with it.

Show off!

Yea, $1300 is good, depending on the Core 2 Duo model and RAM speed...

Either way, you should not have any problems or slowdowns.

As Chuck g says the hypermemory video sucks , but overall its good package for what your needs are.
