I have a rosehair tarantula. She eats and drinks well. Latley i've noticed she seems...i donno, depressed? Like she's not herself, feeling under the weather. (no joke!) Last night she made a web on the bottom of her terrarium and later i found her laying on it, belly up. What's going on? I flipped her back over but she seems very weak. Her legs don't support her well and she is very slow moving. I've owned her for several months now. Any ideas as to whats going on?

Don't panic - she's molting. It's the arachnid equivalent of shedding her skin. Spiders lay on their backs to shed and they do NOT like being disturbed, so leave her alone. It's quite a long process and she probably won't be back to her old self for a week or so. Relax! :-)

Could be molting (Losing her outer shell) or dying. They do die of old age you know. I do not know the age limit though.
