BGY should be Bergamo.
Take a bus outside the airport that will take you to Milan Central Station.
Via Tonale is very close to Central train station.
Check this map that shows you via Tonale 14:

You won't have any problem doing this. I once took a flight from Girona to Torino that was re-routed to Bergamo. I had NEVER heard of Bergamo and I had no idea where it was. I was so confused. However, it was REALLY easy for me to find my way to Milano Centrale station. There is very regular bus service from the Bergamo airport to Milano Centrale Station. From there, you can easily walk to your hostel. The area around the station isn't very nice at night, so keep a close eye on your bags.
