One of the wires is lose. I have to lay something heavy on it for the PS2 to come on.

I brought it in December of 2004, so I know I will have to pay for not being within the warranty date.

Call Sony and ask for the location or number of the nearest authorized dealer. Go on there website to find their customer service number

Probably, since it is just a loose wire, any TV repair shop would fix it for you.

Your best bet is to contact Sony directly and see how much it will cost to ship it and fix it.

It might be cheaper and / or easier to just replace it when it finally dies, but that is up to you.
