I think I may have hypothroidism. I am 11 weeks pregnant but think this started a while ago. I called my dr and just waiting on a call back. I am interested in similar stories or suggestions. From July - Sept I gained about 10 pounds, no changes in menu, etc. I am extremely fatigued, moody, and I have generally high BP. (Last friday it was 148/98) I was treated for depression starting in about March when my son was 4 months old. What are the chances I have hypothyroidism and was misdiagnosed with depression?

Hypothyroidism can only be detected through blood work. Symptoms are way to average and shared w/ other ailments. Best way to tell is have a physical. They automatically check your thyroid levels when they do your blood work.

Also your symptoms and weight gain are consistant with your first trimester.
