The new episodes were very critical of the US and the war in Iraq, and then the Army bought several advertising spots. Did they not realize what the episodes were about?

These shows have been around for years and are well known to be both anti-establishment and anti-war. The fact that the subject matter was directly Army-related isn't really the point. The Army either a) knew exactly what it was doing or b) should fire their ad agency immediately.

That's a good question. It may have been a coincidence, though. I've seen a lot of military ads lately, and I guess it's because they need fresh blood to shed in the war.

I haven't seen the episodes, but I'm familiar with the shows themselves. They are cartoons, and they are humor.

I doubt very seriously that the Army would actually want someone who thinks they are anything more than that, and would have their political opinions influenced by them.

More dirty tricks from the liberal media, can't win in a fair fight so resort to ways ppl can't respond. They know their followers are easily swayed by the movie star glitz.
