You should try Pogo for games. To play Canasta it costs I think 30 or 35$ a year. But it is well worth it if you like the other games on there as well. I've played Canasta on Yahoo, and I hate it!! The layout of the game is really odd and not very user friendly when first playing on the Yahoo site. Try Pogo for a couple weeks before you decide to pay for it. It really is worth it.

I am getting barred from games also. They say that members that belong to the club can bar you for offensive that and behavior but I think sometimes you are playing against friends and if you beat them to much they boot you and the next time I go into playing I am barred. I have tried to complain to yahoo but can't find the right place. It seems like a few are abusing their right to bar people. I got barred once after I told an opponent hus language was bad. It was down right filthy to woman. I sometimes put up a man icon and get treated better.

If you scroll ...or..send multiple invites...jump lounges or tables ..click kibitz multiple times... run a booter ..spamm..... violate the law ... cuss or abuse chatters among other things ... and Yahoo recieves an abuse report ... and recieves a copy screen shot of the past chat session , Yahoo has the USA courts legal permission to deactivated or ban accounts.
Yahoo's new technology has a glitch though ... banning IDs

I WAS BARRED THREE TIMES.
Hi,
Yahoo has a spam chip now. Clicking on your mouse shows activity, so if you move around too much, get booted from tables too much or get invited too much, it will mistake you for spam and bar you from games for 24, 48 and 72 hrs.
Also, you can make a new profile and play until you are unbarred (not another id on present profile, but new profile!!!
Let them know what happened.
