Right now unfortunately this is in the hands of your parents. In most states the "legal" age is actually 17 (most think it's 18 but 9 times out of 10 its 17). So, because he's of age and you're not, your parents make that call. If they choose to they can have him arrested and charged with Statutory Rape. I guess right now you need to discuss this with your parents and a suggestion to you as well as the b/f....have him there when this discussion takes place.

Different states have different laws, but your boyfriend should still be considered a minor too. You need to tell someone though, at least a doctor at a clinic so you can get checked out. It would be best to go ahead and be honest with your parents/guardians so that you can see a gyno and get everything you need. Good luck :)

It depends on what state you are in as the laws vary by state. Are you sure that you are pregnant? You may want to talk to a counselor at your school. The age thing is going to be the least of your worries. Good luck!

It depends. You need to google "statutory rape" for whatever state you live in. The age of consent is different everywhere. Normally its only an issue if the girl is under 15, or the man is more than five years older. Good luck.

in my state, the law supports the females for these "crimes".
but there are also cases, where teenagers could successfully hide their pregnancy from their parents, and give birth to a child at their house (provided their parents are not around). it's been reported on the newspaper.
i wish you good luck on summoning yr courage to tell your parents about this matter. They have to know about this.

Your parents can press statutory rape charges against him...I'm not sure what state you are from but it can happen, absolutely! That would be entirely up to the parents if they wanted to pursue the issue that way...Sorry

no...he would only go to jail if you told the police that it was rape, or if he was 18 or over because that would be statutory rape because its illegal for people 18 and over to have sex with minors
