Average $15,000. But you can spend upwards of $25,000-$100,000.
it's the little things that add up.. the dress alone will be the largest expense... if you prefer simple, the reception will cost the most.

If you want to keep it simple (really simple), have the reception at the Fire Station or in a community hall that won't charge. Have family members bring a dish and help with the decorations. sounds hokey, but we pulled our families together and did that for one of my daughters - they wanted it simple and preferred to have a great honeymoon trip. It was a beautiful family event.

Both sides of the family got together the night before and prepared all the food in the Fire Station's kitchen. They also had very large refrigerators to store the prepared trays until the next day... we also decorated the upstairs hall - so the only expense was the fresh flowers. Her wedding cake was a gift from a friend who worked in the cake decorating business.

If you decide on a caterer, the cost per person is determined by your food choices... $10-$25 per person.
