Not banned totally.
Large organised displays should be allowed provided they are licensed.
Individuals should not be allowed to buy them.
They are lethal in the wrong hands.

I don't think they should be banned, but they should only be sold on the weekend of bonfire night, Christmas and new years eve, its the shops that sell them to kids for weeks on end leading up to these events that need banning, I'm all for a good old bit of fun myself but over the last few years were I live its been getting so out of hand with the amount of fireworks going off from the end of August, it just starts to get on your nerves in the end up and I am sick of seeing my dog so terrified all the time.

Erm yes and no, I think for the public then yes ban the sale. I think fireworks should only be sold wholesale to the heath and safety officer, of an organised firework display.

I think the age of selling the fireworks should definitely be increased to maybe 25 and I do not think the general public should be allowed to purchase banger type fireworks.

I understand they are dangerous, but dumb people will do dumb things regardless of what they are messing with. People who want to enjoy fireworks should be allowed to. An age limit on who can light them might be good though.

no but i do agree with everyone else they do need a certain level of intelligence to use them and i believe if you use them in the right way then there should be no reason why they need to be banned

no, but neither should they be freely sold as they are! i mean you go to your local supermarket and there they are by the door being pushed in your face, and i know how easy it was for kids to get hold of them when i was a teenager - and you just don't realise the risk and danger when you're younger!
but i really do like them, and want them at my wedding reception. their use does need to be better controlled tho!

not completely, but i do think they should only be allowed for organised shows etc, my daughter and partner were burnt by one this year, a friend at a private party had put one in the ground but it exploded and fell over, shot into my family and basically put us all off for life(thankfully the burns were not bad), but they could have been a lot lot worse!

My dog is terrified of them but I don't want them banned, I just want people to be responsible and keep it to the day before and the actual day itself!
