There is a night train for Haldwani,
from Mathura.

It is a daily train. You will reach
Haldwani at about 11.00 AM next
day.

Sleeper class berths are easily available.

From Haldwani, there are enough buses
for Ranikhet. Every one hour, there
is a bus.

Alternatively, you get into a shared taxi.
Their charges are about 50% higher than
that of bus fare. It is also comfortable
and enjoyable. The frequency of shared
taxis are not as good as the buses. They
take lessor time, no doubt, but they ply
only when they get full passengers. One has
to wait a bit extra.
