There are no direct rail or road
connections for going to Shimla.
You have two alternatives:
1. From Ranikhet, you take a night bus
for Delhi and take another bus for Shimla.
The Shimla Bus starts from Kashmere
Gate ISBT.
2. From Ranikhet you take a bus for Chandigarh.
It is once a day service. From Chandigarh, take
another bus for Shimla. The Ranikhet-Chandigarh
bus timings are not known to me. Probably, it
starts at night.
