Hon, this is normal. Very very normal. Pregnancy and motherhood can be very scary. First, you did the right thing by choosing life. Now, get yourself some support, counseling, family, friends, etc. Take care of yourself. Many women have been in your shoes, and many women have gotten past that.
Best wishes.

I understand exactly how u feel. Although my baby was planned and wanted, now Im 3 months pregnant I find it hard to get excited, and get very depressed. Then i feel guilty because its not the babys fault, and I really do want it, but can't shift the miserable feelings. Im waiting for it all to change as everyone keeps telling me it will, but it hasn't happened yet. All we can do is go with our feelings rather than fight them, and hope that it will get better. I know its probably hormones as everyone says but that don't help when u feel down. I wish u the best. xx

Pregnancy can put your body and mind on a roller coaster ride. While your feelings of anxiety are quite normal you should schedule an appointment to discuss these feelings with your doctor. If the depression gets too serious they may give you medication or have you consider going to a supportive counselor.

It could be fear...... afraid of giving birth or afraid of the aftermath of having a child. I would talk to your doctor and ask him. If you decide you do not want the baby you need to decide if you want to give it up for adoption. If you are scared to raise a child I would seek parenting classes. Having a baby is one of the biggest decision a woman has to make in her life and if we are not ready for it it can cause a lot of anxiety and depression. As long as you seek help the doctor can lead you the way to recovery and get you the help you need.

Your hormones are probably going crazy. Talk to your doc about your feelings. It is a bit overwhelming halfway through your pregnancy to think that you are going to be completely responsible for another human being. You need to talk to someone who can help you see the positive side of it. Maybe try to find a message board for expecting mothers.
