Hello,
It sounds like he is just wanting you to pat him or show him some attention....I have a rabbit that always does that to me just to let me know that he's around and is boss!!
Also a good internet site about rabbit language states:
A rabbit will present itself for grooming by coming right up next to you, maybe nudging you a bit with its nose or poking its nose under your hand or foot, then lowering its chin and chest to the ground, and stretching its head forward while keeping its rear up a bit. While the ears may get laid back a little, this is quite different from the signal for fear (in which the head is never stretched forward) or anger (which is almost always indicated while standing).

That could be his way of showing his affection towards you.
Be grateful, we have a rex and she is a nightmare, if she got that close to my arm, she'd rip it off and run round the room with it. Lol!
The other possibilities are he's sniffing you, hungry, wants to play or wants something you're in the way of. I know some rabbits have particular routes they like to walk on and if something is in the way it can unnerve them a bit!

Pet bunny likes you. He is nudging you like a hug. Or it could be that you are in his way. Does he do this when you are petting, feeding or grooming him? You can tell if he likes what you are doing. Bunnies can also be aggressive if they are not neutered. Is he? If not, he could become nasty and try to bite you--but this doesnt mean he WILL-just that he may. Anyway take his hugs affectionately. Bunny will love the attention - keep it up!

It's just a nudge. Mine do it when I'm in the way. If I don't move, I get a nip. Sometimes they do it if they want food or just a bit of a fuss. It's how they communicate with each other.

I find it usually means that they want attention, mine usually does it if I was stroking her, or sitting near her and I've stopped or I'm not looking at her.
