Does anyone remember.........?

Question

when I was around 5, there was a cartoon, I think it was called Cities of Gold.........this would have been around 1984 or so. It was about a little boy whose family went around searching for lost cities in South America. I've never met anyone else who remembers this cartoon, so if you do, please let me know, so I know I'm not crazy :) Thanks!

the show was called "The Mysterious Cities of Gold"

Plot:
In the year 1532, Mendoza, a Spanish Navigator, Estaban, a young orphan, Zia, a young Incan girl, and a band of Spanish sailors set sail from Barcelona in search of El Dorado, the Mysterious City of Gold. Each is on a personal quest of discovery, heritage, and wealth.
