I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

... I can tell you that what you eat is crucial in regards to the problem of acne. ... You have to stay away from sugar and refined foods,.. sodas of any sort,... chocolate,.. shell fish,... fried foods,... Try as much as possible to eat alot of raw fruit and veggies,.. especially dark green raw veggies such as spinach. .... Try to cut down on your intake of red meat and instead, if you eat meat, make it the likes of turkey or lamb.
I can also tell you that I always found that taking Vitamin A in the form of "Fish Oil" capsules,... worked extremely well for me whenever I had an outbreak of acne. .................... Vitamin A is not a "water soluable" vitamin however,.. so you can not take it indefinately. You can take fairly large doses of it for periods of time (days or weeks taking 20,000 or 30,000 units per day), ... followed by abstaining from taking it for a period of weeks before taking again.
You could also supplement the Vitamin A with a good B complex vitamin daily and also take Vitamin C (500 units twice a day) ..... Vitamins are best taken with some food in order to ensure the digestive system is active towards helping to assimilate the vitamins. Also,.. make sure that you only take "natural" vitamins and avoid synthetic vitamins. There is a big difference...................... Personally, I always had overnight results when I took 3 or 4 capsules of the Vitamin A from fish oil whenever I experienced an outbreak.
Depending upon how serious your acne condition may be,.... there is a product that can be acquired through a doctors prescription,... that is a topical cream called; "Retin A",... This is a vitamin A skin cream. ... That is something which I have never used,.. but I have read good things about it's effectiveness for serious acne.
Another good source of help with acne is getting plenty of direct sunlight on the affected areas. ... I also found this very helpful. Sunlight is an important source of Vitamin D and is very healing for such problems as acne. ........... I would tell you to avoid tanning beds however. They have serious problems in terms of negative effects on the body.
Regular exercise is also a good way to flush the skin and Lymphatic system,.. which helps to promote healthy skin condition. ............. and of course,.. using the right type of soap for cleaning the pores and bacteria from the skin is also very important. ..... I used to use an old fashioned cleaning soap called; "Fels Naptha".... I don't even know if it is still on the market,.. but I suspect there are other good soaps for the likes of acne on the market today.

I read an interesting article today that said chocolate itself doesn't really cause acne, but the milk in milk chocolate is what can aggravate it -- as does milk drinking in general. Maybe cut down on the dairy for awhile -- milk, cheese, pizza, ice cream -- and see what happens. I would think yogurt would be a good thing, though.

Proactiv does NOT work for everyone. It made my face a dry, patchy disaster. See a dermatologist. Don't expect one product to solve all your facial problems. Everyone's skin is different. A professional can give you a personalized skin care plan.
