Yes, especially as HS Seniors as they get ready to vote! This has become less common, I've been told by teachers, because the last 2 years of HS is saved for pre-college classes. So Civics is taught in Middle school instead? I had American Government as a Senior many years ago and believe that was more valuable than any other class...

They should require American History along with Civics and Government. People have no clue about the history of this great nation. They have no clue about the previous wars. This is sad. A verse in the Bible goes along with this, My people perish for a lack of knowledge. So true.

It depends on what grade in high school you are in, how fast you work, and I personally think everybody should work good in school because the better you work the better high paying job you will get.

It would break down and become a course that glorifies the beauty of bureaucracy.

As suggested, Economics would be better.
