I will be spending less this year than I did last year, do to financial difficulties. Although I might not spend as much money the thought and love behind each gift will still be there.

Wondering what the thought behind this question is... Isn't Christmas about giving and thought behind it not on how much you spent?

Less. Last year I had a job I hated but I made good money. This year I've got a job I love but it was a big cut in pay.

It will average out to the same. I will spend a little more on my hubby and adult kids but by request from my daughter a bit less on the three granddaughters who need NOTHING!

Probably more this year. I recently got married and now I have 2 new step daughters. This makes a total of 4. But, even if I hadn't gotten married I would have spent more. My girls are getting older and the 'toys' they want are more expensive.

I will not spend more money this year. I will spend less, because it is not what I give that counts to me it is their presence that I value and they value mine
