It seems like pacific poker, poker room, party poker, fulltilt poker, u have to download software..is there any sites where you don't have to download software? thanks.

Actually according to UPG http://www.theultimatepokerguide.com/article.php/pokerroom-review you can play on Pokerroom without downloading anything there is a Java version you can play on their website.

no most everything you will need to download something because they all use different programs and they make for good viewing i recommend pokerstars.com they have a great program and i have never had any problems there

I know you don't have to download anything at pitbullpoker.com and you never used to at bodog.com but that could have changed.
