LIke on what to say when they ask why would you be best for this job? What is a really good answer for that? I just need something that will make me stand out over all the other interviewees!

This is a tough question. Interviews are hard because you're supposedly trying to sell yourself. A good interview gets you hired, a bad interview (no matter what your quals) can lose you the job. I recommend getting the book "What color is your parachute?" It's a pretty good resource for job hunting and interviewing. The main thing to remember is that you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you. You want to make sure it's a good fit for the both of you.

So let's say you decide that you do want to work there - everyone's going to answer the "why are you best..." with "well, I'm detail-oriented, I'm a people person, yada yada yada". I answered this very same question letting my passion for my work do the talking (I'm a statistics nerd.) So I told them that I really enjoy working with numbers and used examples of how I play with statistics and run numbers in my free time. (I know, I'm a total nerd.) I think the important thing is to let them know that you really love what you do and will approach every day with enthusiasm.

Now for the other hard question - what is your biggest flaw? The important thing is to turn it around into a positive. For example, I answered with "Well, people tend to think I'm too easy going, but I think it makes me adaptable and able to handle stressful situations with ease. I tend to laugh a lot."

Good luck, I hope this helps!

Make sure you really know about the job you are applying for so you can answer questions honestly. Employers know when you are just telling them what they want to hear, and it comes across as fake and insincere. Good eye contact is probably more important than anything you could say.

Good advice so far! Also, take care in the little details when it comes to your appearance. Nice haircut, clean and well kept. Make sure you nails look clean and trimmed. Clothes ironed and clean etc. Oh, and don't have bad breath.

Have a good resume and be qualified for the position that you are being interviewed for.

mmmh, maybe you should know something about the job duties and tell them what experience you have or what expertise you have in those things. just a wild guess.
