Three correct answers are possible:

Change either plus sign to a 4 by adding a small slant.
This gets 545 + 5 = 550 or 5 + 545 = 550.

Alterntaively, draw a diagonal through the equals sign to indicate that 5 + 5 + 5 DOES NOT EQUAL 550.

Is this the complete problem:

Make 5+5+5=550 true by drawing one line that cannot touch a + or =. If this is the case, then you draw one diagonal line on one of the + signs to make it either 545+5 or 5+545.

5+5+5 = 550
5+5+5 will never = to 550, it's either a typo error or it should read
545+5 = 550 or 5+545 = 550

This is a math equation that is not true.
How can it be made to be true by using only one line?

I think if you add a small line to the first + sign you can change it into a 4, transforming the equation into 545+5=550 which is a true statement.
