Yes, it's an attractive feature.....moviestars...male and female get tons of makeup to highlight their cheekbones...it's the top part of your smile.
Guess you were smiling lots that day...and it's a good compliment.

I would say more your jaw line, not cheek bones. There's a difference. You don't have high cheek bones, people with these are usually considered to have strong cheek bones. Whoever told you that has a shape disfunction, no offense.
