I was crushed when i lost a loved one but i could never give up on life not only because it's short and worth living but because that's not what he would of wanted and i would feel the same.

I looked around searching honestly for an answer.

The one thing that came on strong was that , in my life, the most important thing would be MY HEALTH. If I have a good health I can pursue almost anything. . In fact this is the single most important need of today.

If I lost it... health .... would life be still worth living? I donot know. It would depend upon the kind of problem I would have. But, whatever , I would not run away from life. I might have a reduced activity level but I would still do what I can.

I love my husband with all my heart and somtimes I feel like I couldn't go on without him. But if you stop and think about it I can go on without a man. However..my mother is somebody I know I could never live without It scares me daily to think that some day I might not have her, but I do enjoy her all the best that I can while I have her now! So if you ask me the most important thing in my life is the love, and presense of my mom!

Smiles,,, you need a T shirt that exclaims one of my fave quotes,,,"I am of a different opinion"

Certainly ones own life is most important and valuable,,,even if it's in constant searching for validation. Without MY life, I hardly have room to consider ANYTHING else of importance.

Then,,, within the context of MY life, and being thankful ofr every "first" breath,,, I suspect a strong IMPORTANCE in holding strongly to even thoughts or visions of Aldara.

I have a life, but in order or any importance,,, if one actually does that???? Yikes... I'd say, number one on my list is Aldara, and every aspect of WHY she is number 1. That certainly relates to maintaining my own life also, too, but, and, however.

I read some of the answers....and number of them are opting for God....well, thats very much philosophical answer....but in practical life the most important thing in my life is my friends. I simply cannot think me without their communication and vice-versa. We are making eachother's life worth and bearable even under stress......and the second of part of your question.....Nope, I just cannot think it would be worth living without their touch.

It is not that i do not love life...I DO...but with her everything is so much better. Iove ...that is the most important thing in my life ...and remember the most important things ARE NOT THINGS!!....im grateful for my life and the one that makes my world go around..thank you for reminding me!!!

I guess it depends on your perspective. My daughter lost her cellphone, and thought it was the end of the world. I lost a car recently, and looked at it as a reason to get a new one.

There is nothing in my life that would make my life not worth living. Just nothing.

I hope you have the same approach.
Nothing in one's life can ever be so important, ever, that if you lose it it makes life not worth living.

Nothing can be so important, ever.

God. He makes it so that I can lose everything else in my life, and still find it worth living.
