US sizes are two below UK sizes:

Standard sizes:

US size 0 = UK size 4 = 31-23-33
US size 2 = UK size 6 = 32-24-34
US Size 4 = US Size 8 = 33-25-35
US Size 6 = UK Size 10 = 34-26-36
US Size 8 = UK Size 12 = 35-27-37 or 36-28-38
US Size 10 = UK Size 14 = 37-29-39 or 38-30-41
US Size 12 = UK Size 16 = 39-31-41 or 40-32-42

Usually, to ge the UK size subtract 4. So a UK 12 is a US 8. Every once in a while I've seen a UK item that was only 2 higher than US, but that is rare.

i imagine uk king beds are smaller than US Kings, you may continually flow by measurements. A US king quilt must be this length : King ninety 4"W x 106"H. So if you're figuring out to purchase uk, make confident it matches this length
