We plan a life or life plans a way for us! Whatsoever we plan the almighty has another one in store. We can have some broad goals and determine for ourselves what we need from this world within an age of 70. By doing so what will be our outcome. That is why we may need a almighty GOD in the first place to make our objectivity of our life meaningful!

Dont just think, make it a habit to write your motives, your immeditate and long term motives:
own a car -
save money-
invest money
learn a hobby etc
Do this on daily basis. When you write it down on paper.Your subconsious mind then starts to help you in acheiving these motives.
You live by your motives (goals). How you achieve it and in what time-frame you achieve is also important. See your plan is already ready.
Similarly write down your life plan: your strength and weakness.
friendly
talkative
amicable
social
short tempered.
use your strenths to achieve the goal. Improve and work upon your weakness to improve your life.

I always tell people, there's really no way to plan your life out. You can only create a basic structure as to how you want to live your life, and live your life based on that structure. Too many unpredictable things happen in someone's life - for example - the death of a loved one, a tornado wiping out your neighborhood, or someone stealing your identity.

In an overly simplified response, I usually liken life as a ride on a see-saw. Some of the times you are up and sometimes down. Never, always up or down. So, strive for "balance". If you can achieve a balance in your life it will be about the best there can be.

You can not plan your life, you need to live happy, and to think good what is happening with you to the present. The future will come, you'll don't need to wait for him

well, you could make a "to do" list for tomorrow, have a monthly planner book, do the five or ten year plan like the commies, and start saving for retirement/vacation
