WITH OUR KIDS. i know we have to have time alone together. i used to have something for her everytime, but things are different now. i somehow want to make it up to her, starting right now, please help me out. . . and on how to make time with her just like before, but more special, i want her to feel special this time on. . . .any suggestions would help, thanks!!!

candy and flowers are over-rated. I agree getting someone to watch the kids. Take her out somewhere nice and quiet (maybe parking lot of your/her favorite place and tell her exactly how you feel, how much you love her, appreciate her, etc. If you want an actual gift, find a local spa and get her a certificate for a massage, etc.

knowing that you care is sometimes the best present....think back to where you met, or your first date. Get a sitter and take her there ... buy her a card or better yet write her a note. Tell her how you feel and that the every day things she does don't go unnoticed. Let her sleep in on a weekend morning and take care of the kids so she doesn't have to. Do the dishes without being asked. Make the bed. Those little things mean the world to a wife and mom.

find a babysitter for the night, cook your wife a romantic dinner, put on some soft music, get some flowers and candy, and tell her how important she is to you.
