I actually DID drink champagne from a Mason jar. My girlfriend and I, after spending all day moving furniture into our new apartment, wanted to have champagne to celebrate, but the only dishes we could find in all the boxes were a set of mason jars, so we drank champagne out of those.

NOT CHAMPAGNE, BUT I HAVE HAD TEA AND LEMONADE FROM ONE. A RESTURANT WE USE TO GO SERVED THEIR DRINKS IN MASON JARS.
