Oh yeah, they exist. These "do gooders" feel the "poor" criminal had a bad childhood, they were never listened to, we can't put them away, it would be wrong and harmful for them, we must help them in any way we can, on and on it goes. These idiots - whoever they are - spew out more garbage in favor of the criminals while the victims are screwed over. It can be anyone, not just as they have said in the past, the bleeding heart liberals.
Ever hear this one. This families house is broke into. The criminals had guns, the family dog bites one on his leg, he ends up suing the family and he WON!!!
That's only one, there are so many, you would puke.
In Britain this little old lady had a toy gun, A TOY GUN mind you, she apparently scared these imbeciles who broke in her home and she got done for it. They told her she scared them and it was wrong!!
Yeah, but it's not wrong they broke in her home!!??
The laws are not what they should be anymore.

someone who's heart bleeds for the suffering of people and animals, contained in the liberal's case, the homeless issue, the adverse, little ones, etc. etc.--- It starts getting out of hand even as their heart bleeds if you do not deserve it like murderers which incorporates Andrea Yates and crying about how we provide the shortcoming of existence penalty to those who honestly need to be killed. Then they're type of contradicting themselves even as they're this style of bleeding heart liberal who has 0 compassion for the unborn, you recognize, stuff like that.

eh... ALL TOO OFTEN people speak before they really know the details of the situation...
many times, if it looks weird (like someone getting a month long sentence for murder), there are other issues going on...
but it seems that all too often people would rather just dismiss things as "bleeding hearts" or "liberal courts" than actually look at why they made the decision...
people don't care about the details or motivation anymore... only how you can paint the picture in 5 seconds of conversation... they don't want the truth, they want a nice little soundbite they can talk about at the watercooler...
now, that doesn't mean I agree with everything the justice department/system does, but it's hardly ever as "cut and dry" as the media makes it out to be...
but it's a tough job trying to discuss a very complicated issue, like law, with the general public that hardly understands it for the most part...

The criminal courts do a very good job of following the law! There are a few incompetent judges everywhere of course.
I don't know what media you're watching, but let me guess, Fox News?
In that case, it's easy to misrepresent or abbreviate the facts to make it appear that a judge is just letting criminals out of jail, willy nilly. My advice: pick a particular case that's been reported as having an outrageous outcome or verdict. Look up some more information about it on the internet, and see if the result was less irrational than it was painted by the "conservative" media.

The phrase 'bleeding hearts' is usually suffixed by the word liberals, as if to say that people who are liberal fall easily for a sob story or the idea that a criminal had a "tough childhood", and thats how these criminals get off.Personally I think that this is just the media being reactionary as usual

They are think tanks set up by Blair. Very high paid civil servants who want Blair to like them. Also remeber that Mrs Blair is a lawyer in a chambers that specialise in human rights law. We also have the hidden ones in the EU who make laws we have no oportunity to vote on. Blair however lets them in.

The parole boards and soft judges are part of the problem and the people who draft stupid human rights laws that penalise the law abiding citizens of this country.
