What happened on Supernatural last Thurs. night?

Sam and Dean are being held in seperate rooms in a police station. (If I get their names backwards, I apologize)
Dean (Jensen Ackels) has been arrested for the murder of a local Baltimore woman. The police detective (Linda Blair) is questioning Sam (Jared Padelecki) about what happened. They both gave her the story that their father was a friend of the woman's husband who had been murdered a couple of days earlier, and that they were there on a condolence call. The clues make them think that the murders are by a vengeful spirit. Sam escapes from the holding cell and is found at the hotel by the police detective. They follow a lead Dean had given them to where the spirit might be located. FAx pages were covered with a anagram word. They find her body and because she didn't ttack the detective Sam realizes that she is trying to warn them. From missing persons photos they find out she was a heroin dealer. (Detective and partenr used to work in narcotics & drugs had gone missing). They tried to find the partner who had taken Dean to be "extradited" for murder charges in St. Louis. They found him, he admitted to murdering the spirit, the man, and his wife. (The spirit was going to report him, the dead man laundered te money and wanted to stop, the wife he thought knew about it). The female detective shot her partner in self deense and let Sam and Dean escape. Since she was played by Linda Blair, they made references to the Exorcist as they walked away.
