I am usingFfirefox 1.5.0.8 and zone alarm firwall

I use Firefox1.5.0.8..Zone alarm firewall..broadbnd internet connected,,even for sites such as Yahoo.co.in..google .com etc.,first i get the above error message and immediately on clicking "try again", the web site opens !why?

check if your local area network is connected to the internet in the connectiviy in your start menu in the system.. there is no server coz it needs a host in able to connect to the internet without t, all the display is not found and internet is impossible.

Hmmm...might need more specifics. Are you using a laptop? If so, I've noticed they take a while to re-establish their network connection if you've just awoken it from hibernation (the laptop being closed). Does it still happen if you try using Internet Explorer? If so, it may be a problem with Firefox, try upgrading to version 2.

Actually which software u use to browse ........it have such type of problem I also use the same software n face d same problem I think u should wait after open ur modem for atleast 5 mins n I think problem will not be presist...... if u hav d same problem replace it wid its newer version if problem remain exists change the software n use IE 7 or Netscape Navigator........

I Will say that if U R using the Modem U will switch on the internet before the Modem gets ready then after it gets ready U will receive the webpage.

1st of all...firefox has released its new version firefox 2.0
get it downloaded at firefox.com or..........download.com
then check whether still you have the problem..........
if it is yes there is a adware ,malware or virus threat to ur pc...so plz chek ur updates in ur virus guard and search.........
if you cant find the prob for this...................format the comp.....
above these all contact your network provider..this could be caused by a network malfunction................

check the LAN, modem or the installaiton properties, some time the hard disk can also create problem
