me and someone who I thought was a close friend of mine got into a heated argument because she said I wasn't a true friend. That really pissed me off, because I felt I was. I asked her why she thought that and she said it was because when she was pulled over by the police for rolling through a stop sign; I refused to let her use my license. (she said her license were suspended and she would go to jail). I responded that a true friend wouldn't have asked me to do such a thing. Was I wrong?

No of course she should not have asked! You are friends but that doesnt mean you should help each other tobe dishonest! If she really was your friend she would have understood why you said no and respect that. Dont ever change your morals just to help out and always stick with what you believe in. Tell her how you feel, and if she wants to feel that way the it is her problem you cant change that. Good luck to you!

Your friend is being selfish. She panicked and needed someone to make sure she wasnt going to get in truoble. She feels you werent thee to back her up, but if she was caught with fraud she STILL would've gone to jail anyway, and would've gotten YOU in a loot of trouble. So whos the better friend. Someone who knew something wasnt right? Or someone who was willing to put the both of you at risk, becuase she did something wrong? You decide. And o yea, she should've been smart about things from the beginning and not roll past the stop sign the way she did....c'mon on now thas just common sense

No, you did the right thing, she's just mad because you didn't help her out with that.
If she was a true friend then she would let go of that, 'cause what if the cops fond out that the licence was yours?? Then you'd both go to jail.

No you wasn't wrong but she was wrong for driving and you were wrong for allowing her to drive you around with a suspended license. Why weren't you driving if you have valid license? That would have solved this whole dispute.

She is definitely NOT a friend for wanting you to take the blame for something she did wrong - and it's obviously not the first time. I wouldn't waste anymore time with her - end all contact and do it immediately.

Well,,,of course you shouldn't have let her use your drivers license. That could have gotten you in trouble with the law.
SO,,,,,, no you weren't wrong.

She's mad at you for not taking the blame for something she did? You really don't need friends like that.

no and if you had both of you would be in jail. its not your fault that she wont grow up and take responsibility for her actions. give her some time and she will cool off.

No, you weren't wrong, she was. If that's her test of true friendship, you should find another friend.
