Halogen bulbs are the longest lasting. The one in my bathroom has been there six years. The one in the front bedroom is about four years old, and I've replaced others (regular bulbs) repeatedly the first couple years after I tried using this type just to see if they really worked.
They do. They last much longer & are more cost efficient. I recommend halogen highly.

Circular-shaped halogen lightbulbs.
We've had the same ones in the kitchen for 8 years! And they haven't burned out yet.
(they probably will tonight, now that I've said that)

make sure you are using the correct bulb(watts/volts) whatever...for one....this really makes a difference.

20,000 hours...tungsten steel support wires... pretty amazing. honestly...you get what you pay for.... look for the lumens-candle power you need...higher the number, the brighter the bulb, then decide which one to buy based on kw hours...it's all right on the package.
