As a truck driver, If we where all to wait till after 9 am to start driving then anything and everything you own would cost a hell of alot more then it does now. It would make manufacturer's to work twice as hard to meet the demands. EVERYTHING you own or use, from your car to the toilet paper you use was at one time or more on one of them slow trucks.
Next time your annoyed by a slow truck, just think about how many annoyed drivers cut off the poor driver just to be in front of him instead of behind. Think about how that man in the slow truck has a family to feed just like you. And think about how many hard working family men are injured or killed cause of some annoyed commuter cuts off a truck. Over 70% of truck/car accidents are cause by the car. (It's a fact)
Next time your annoyed by a slow truck, Just think of how things would be if trucks did not run. America would shut down (no gas, milk, food, anything) All it would take is 1 day for all trucks to stop and this country would stop just like that. I guess Dealing with a few slow trucks is worth the way of life your used to.

Irritating they may be but the most annoying road user has got to be Mr and Mrs caravan deathweave. They drive at snails pace as far out to the middle of the road as they can to stop you seeing around them to overtake. I follwed one the other night who didnt move away from traffic lights until they had been green for a minimum 10 seconds. I was pulling my hair out. Just think, if they had worked a little harder before they retired they could have afforded a proper holiday instead of having to pull a fibreglass box behind them so they could sit in a field somewhere for a fortnight. How is that fun?

Nope, at least they have a reason to be on the roads, even if are annoying first thing in the morning when they could maybe time it differently.
Chelsea tractors are what get on my nerves, little jimmy and rosie getting taken 100 meters down the road in a massive petrol guzzling car. Hundreds of them every morning does my head in. How oh how did we survive when we were young walking to school !!! Grr

Perhaps if you find them 'the most annoying thing in the world' you are not in a mentally fit state to be in charge of a potentially lethal piece of steel. Take a deep breath and calm down.

I use a coach daily to go to work and come home, the works bus, only costs 2 pound a week, much cheaper than taking my car, which was costing me 20 pound a week.

I'm a farmer we have to work too, usually 5.00am til 7pm flat out so we are usually on the road all day when necessary, no choice if we want to earn a living!!! But no offence taken!!
Ps We are usually very easy to overtake!

I hate tractors and coaches - my drive to work is down a narrow country road so I can't overtake either which really annoys me. Grrr :( x

Not All 4X4's are HUGE
Not All 4X4's are gas guzzlers
Not every one lives in London
Not All 4X4's are used to take children to school...........
Oh I give up.No wonder Hitler was popular!

What's the point of asking a question if you only want your own biased opinions echoed back?
