I don't shop on Ebay because I want to see what I'm buying in person before I put any money down. There is no guarantee that what you are getting is brand new or even what the description says it is. One of the main turnoffs about Ebay for me is the outrageous shipping prices that people charge. You spend more on shipping alone than if you were to drive to town and pay full price for the same item with no shipping.

I did last year and this year. Hard to find items, things that are already sold out, name brand clothes new with tags at great deals. Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirts are very very reasonable.
I was only disappointed once with a slushee maker that came missing parts. Buyer beware.

Yes, I just bought my father a collector's decorative knife and I am planning on purchasing my mother a set of interchangeble earrings. I love eBay!

Of course I have. Ebay has just as many brand new items as used ones. I purchased my backyard pool on ebay.

yes I have , I have bought Cd's, DVDs, videos, clothes, a digital camera, beanie babies, and collector cards, and firefighter memorabilia. And maybe more I just can't remember them now.
