3. Contact friends or family in Nepal and ask them to find someone who will soon be flying to England. Have them give the books to that person and then arrange to meet them once in the UK. Perhaps at the airport.

The person who joked about buying new books is not as far off as it might seem. That may actually be the cheapest, simplest option. Finding a library that has the same books would be even better.
You wanted an option that was easy, quick, and cheap. Unfortunately, nothing covers ALL those things. Others have suggested various freight services, but none of them are cheap--particularly for express delivery. What's more you may have some complications with customs in either Nepal or Britain.

What is the air service, Airborn, UPS, Postal, Fed EX...........
You may have to make smaller packages, for shipments.
If in any good size city one of them will be their, then there is Postal service any where, it may have to be Via Khamundu.
