GreenGras; I don't think you understand what happens to a man when he is incapable to defend, or fight for for his family. In this case I wouldn't know if the man was "more shaken" or not. But I do know that even if he is less a man than the average, he is going to feel sharp pains of loathing his visual memories for the rest of his life.
Maybe the cop saw something we can't, maybe the cop was wrong to say who would suffer more.
