how old is my pregnancy?

my period is 30-31 days cycle. i had my period aug.15th expecting in sept 15th.( i started fertlity drugs sept. 1st.) period came 25th sept -10days delay like spotting but lasted too long. doc suggested p-test . two weeks after it was positve. exactly 25th of oct another period came (3days). as at saturday 11th nov. i had another test , its still positive though sysmptoms have increased now compared to last month. the test just showed p-test -positve. how do i calculate to know how old the pregnancy is. since i didnt miss any period or im to wait for 1st scan?

you might have to wait for your first scan but as a rough guess say 4 weeks before the first positive test.... good luck and congrats..

Some women do have periods during pregnancy. If your last known regular period was August 15th then you likely conceived around August 30th and you'd be due on approximately May 22nd 2007. However I suggest you wait for an ultrasound, because the doctor will measure how large the fetus is and he'll be able to give a better estimate.

I had a early dating scan to see how far along I was because my periods were irregular and they only could give me dates of two weeks difference. The blood test that I had for my Hcg levels gave me a better accuracy though. At your next appointment your doctor will most likely do this test and you should get a better understanding of your dates.

I 'm afrid that you are one of those woman that will probably have her period throw out the preg or at the begining
but if you did get preg you are already on your second trimester
starting on November 7
baby will be born in May

not your first scan, but your first doctors visit, he will measure your stomach...and they will do blood work and all that good stuff
