I was so upset when i found out that Lost was moving to Skyone...mainly because i do not have Sky and do not wish to pay for it when freeview offers most of the same channels for a very low one off payment! I know it's a bit sad that I am so affected by a TV program but i'm really into it and i really feel let down that i will not be able to watch it when it starts this Sunday. Is there anyone out there that feels the same way?

Do freeview have sky because you could get a freeview box. Your going to have to soon anyway they are stopping terestrial. It's harsh though it's the little things like this that that we need to make life easier. I feel for you I really do.

It seems Sky have the monopoly on any programme that pulls in a lot of people watching. Going the same way as any decent sporting fixture etc etc. no idea what can be done about it really. For those without the ability for whatever reason to have Sky it must be most upsetting, if not for a singular programme certainly for the ideal of Freeview. Little point in having it if all it shows is a bunch of dud programming.

I am upset about this. I feel sorry for the people that dont own Sky. In my area of the UK you cannot recieve freeview so will not be able to see it when Sky One goes onto freeview. Series 3 and 4 have both been brought by Sky One, so there is no hope.

I have sky but as I was looking into going on Freeview instead. Sky are getting annoying now, they have the ashes, 24, lost etc....
Its cause they can just keep outbidding the other channels as they have mega bucks.
I think the people that sell these programs should have a bit more loyalty to the channel that originally aired it, as its them that got them the original coverage and the hype going only for them to defer to another channel.
So, yes, its VERY annoying.

I agree with you 100%.
I am very addicted to Lost.
I also do not have Sky, which really makes me angry.
And The U.S. has to wait 3 more months for the next part of the season that will show 16 consectutive shows starting on February 7th, 2007.
This upset me too because the last episode was fantastic!
I <3 Sawyer, Jack, and Charlie!

Why don't you all do what I did? I downloaded all the episodes and I finished season 3 now (only 6 episodes this time but it will continue in February). So I've watched all the Losts that there are up to now and I'm having to wait until February! Isn't that outrageous? I feel hard done to!!! When it was getting really interesting now, with the Others involved too.

I am also outraged because Sky One will most likely only show it once a week, whereas with Four holding the licence they would broadcast it on E4 for first look and also E4+1. I will have to video it now or i will never catch it.

I'm a little worried how much this affects me but lost is such an awesome show!

urgh I'm in exactly the same life raft

But thats just so typical of sky and the whole 'pay for your channels' scam
I mean first The Simpsons and now this
Its a blatent scheme to force more cash out of our unsuspecting wallets so we can watch Hurley eat for 25 episodes

however
I've found a way to screw sky sideways
i plan to climb through my best friends bedroom skylight and use his Tv every week
it's risky but its worth it!

im addicted after all

It is bloody irritating, especially seeing as there are trailers for it every two minutes in Sky 3 (we only have freeview, by the way). Feels like they're rubbing our noses in it somewhat.

Not me I've got Sky, and lets face it the plots are that far fetched I'm glad that the switch means that I can watch sooner than the New Year.
