Bleach is too harsh for a baby's sensitive skin. Try using a Spray & Wash type stain remover or the Tide pen.

For stains that didn't come out in the wash (and even ones that were "set" by the dryer), I've found nothing works better than "Shout" and sunlight.
I put my son's clothes on a drying rack, facing the sun. I spray "Shout" on the stain - a couple of squirts is enough to saturate the garment. Then I just let it hang there. Most stains are gone in under an hour. Tough stains might require a second spritzing and a second hour. This method hasn't failed me yet. It works especially well on carrots and other orange-red stains.
I used to pre-soak my son's clothes but I just don't have time anymore. These days, I do all of his wash in cold water and add a scoop of "Oxi-Clean" to every load. That gets out most of the stains. The rest go in the sunlight.

If you can't get the existing stains out of the clothes with bleach, I wouldn't waste money on more products. In the future immediately wash or soak the stained clothes. My son's clothes haven't stained yet.

When the sun shows up leave it out with the stain facing the sun (if you have any). I'm in the uk so when the sun does show up out come all the stained clothes, it's amazing, my 2 yr old had a lasagne I'd made, she was a state after & I never thought it'd come out but I remembered what my friend told me about the sun getting rid of stains & now the clothes I had planned to bin are back in her drawers!
Apart from that I dunno, everything shop bought I have tried hasn't worked!

Spray a little Greased Lightning stain remover on it and rub it in a little before you wash it. I have yet to find anything that this will not take out. Even old blood, grass and grease stains. I use it on my baby's clothes and she has not had any adverse reactions.

don't let the stains dry on, wash as much of the stain out as you can before you put the clothes in the machine, then wash as normal, vanish works to. (but the tomato and carrot ones are really hard to get out)

I still swear by ERA. I always rubbed it on the stain and let it sit for a day. Then washed it in Warm water (hot water will set the stain). It usually always worked for me!!
Good luck

This might work, I know it works on blood stains. Get the kind of meat tenderizer that you put on meat and let it set for a while to tenderize the meat, wet the stain, run meat tenderizer into it and let it sit for a few minutes before washing.

I don't really worry too much about the stains. I use Vanish spray on them before I wash them, but hey, in another month my daughter will have grown out of them anyway. Remember to use a bib and roll up sleeves, and don't worry about the rest!!
